Siam BTS and skytrain station is central in the city of Bangkok.  The skytrain station is open everyday from 06:00 until 24:00.

The area is often referred to as Siam Square, there are square of shops nearby with many fashion boutiques that are popular with local shoppers.

Nearby is Siam Paragon which is a high end shopping mall with many well know international brands.

Siam BTS Station Facilities

Siam Station is one of only four BTS stations that feature an island platform, with the others being Samrong, Wat Phra Sri Mahathat, and Ha Yaek Lat Phrao. It is unique on the Silom line for having this configuration, which is specifically designed to ease the transfer process between lines. The upper level of the station facilitates transfers between trains traveling towards Khu Khot and the National Stadium, while the lower level aids in switching between trains bound for Bang Wa and Kheha.

Located on Rama I Road, just west of the Pathum Wan intersection, Siam Station sits at the core of the Siam area. It connects through skybridges to several major shopping centers including Siam Square One, Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Centerpoint of Siam Square. Adjacent to Siam Square itself, the station is also linked by an elevated walkway—known as the Sky Walk—to Central World Plaza, Ratchaprasong junction, and Chit Lom Station.
