Wat Mahatat one of the 10 royal temples of the highest class, the temple houses Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya Buddhist University, which is one of the two highest seats of Buddhist learning in Thailand, for those who would like to study the temple offers meditation instruction in English for visitors.
