As part of a new program to promote tourism in Thailand, the Royal Thai Government has announce that it will waive fees for tourist visas for three months effective 5th March till 4 June, 2009. The waived fees apply only to single entry.

Over the course of the past few years, Thailand's political turmoil has stirred havoc with visa laws - rules and regulations seemingly changed more often than the countries recent string of Prime Ministers.
